Re: Stink bug stance
I am not quite that close to that but by using the Impala SS springs (94-96) in the front and stock springs in
the back it lowered the front and gave it a rake.
You could also go deeper by getting the drop spindles in the front but my front dropped almost 2" by swapping
in the SS springs with the spindles your front would way below your rear. The way mine is I could also just throw
in air springs or shocks and get that extra rake.

Re: Stink bug stance
ok right on thats the look i wanna get i love it! so basically you cut off 2 coils off the front. 2 coils seems like alot though. and what about tires do you have different size tires or are they all the same?

Re: Stink bug stance
Ive got 235 70 15 all the way around, no rubbing in the front at all, and i can barely slide my hand over the top of the tire and the inner wheel well, i lowered it a bit too much, the car bottoms out on the road.

Re: Stink bug stance
Ok cool thats great cuz all my tires are the same size. And that's kinda the way I wanna keep it for now. Yea I think if I cut 2 coils out it might lower it too much since mines already low in the front. Is there anyway to raise the rear?

Re: Stink bug stance
They sell lifts at most local auto parts stores but they dont work very well, and the coil spacers like the thick rubber spacers wont work since the rear coils are more beehive shaped

You can get poly-airbags for around $100
http://www.jcwhitney.com/air-lift-1000-air-spring/p3038428.jcwx?filterid=d265y1996g323j1
For a 96 Impala SS they're only $86.55 shipped. Super price!
Be sure to get ones for wagon springs.
You can also use these to raise or lower the car.
