    I noticed my 78 caprice 350 has a distributor with vacuum advance but I cant find the hose the goes to it. My question is is my car supposed to have vacuum advance if so where does it hook up to

    I looked around my carb and I found a small hose fitting tucked in the back it appears to be the same size so I'm gonna buy some hose. Hopefully that will help my car accelerate

    is yours completely stock? But yes there is a hose, and if you have the original quadrajet carb theres a small vac port off the front right side if your facing the carb, theres alot of vacuum ports coming off of them, but this one has a check valve, it will be round with 4 vac lines going to it, the front hose on that check valve goes all the way to the vac advance

    Yea my car is all stock ohh ok I guess someone messed with my vacuum lines prior because they're all taken up except for the one in the back

    That back one is for the air cleaner or should be ..compare ur hose plumbing to mine in the other pics I sent
