I have a 1979 4 door Impala and I want to replace the seats with 1986-90 Caprice Classic Brougham pillow seats, can anyone give me any information on the switch like will they bolt right in or will I have to do any modification etc. Any information would be great, Thank you.

Hey, welcome to the forum! They should just bolt right in unless your car has a full bench that only has outer seat mounts, then you're going to have to do some modifications. What type of seats do you have currently?

Re: Seat switching Caprice to Impala
Hey welcome! since you have a full bench, you will have to do some mods in order to put in split 50/50. You will need a donor car, any b body from 77-96 will work, you will need those floor pan mounts.
