Finally got the front springs back out and cut 3/4" off the overall height to drop it down 1 1/2".........came out pretty close to that anyway. I measured the gap between the top of the tire and the bottom edge of the wheel well and it's now the same front to back like I was aiming for.
Now I can finally move forward with getting the front end aligned before I chew these tires up any more. It looks so much better now..........hated the way these "stock" Moog springs made it sit like a truck!
At first I was afraid I didn't cut enough off of the springs and that I'd be stuck living it with it not being just right. Now I'm pretty sure it's just right!

I love this body style and I have a "77" Caprice completely disassembled unrestored and available for sale if u or anyone u know might be interested!!

Took a short trip Sunday afternoon with the wife to get some coffee and relax down at the river for a bit......felt good to get some miles on the car finally!
