    frame repair Empty frame repair

    i have found some rust holes on the rear frame rails (under trunk) on my 77 Caprice 2 dr. are there replacement parts available or is this a "weld in patch panels" project? i know El Caminos have this problems also. thanks

    I recently did extensive rust repair on the frame of an 86 caprice.
    I cut patches to exact fit, from a 3 mm thick steel sheet.
    If you are a reasonably experienced welder I would advise you to just to the "patchwork".
