Torque COnverter

Anyone have recommends for a brand I am looking for a 2000rpm stall as by the time it's in and all factors

are equated it should be more like 1600rpm maybe 1500. Anyway the store all sell proking or Dacco probably all Dacco

anyway. And the Cheapie performance on Summit is Boss Hog not sure there, I am thinking maybe Hughes? I don't want

crap but I am limited to the th2004r converters much less than th350 fo ie. as far as selection. I want to keep it under 250

Edit:Just saw that you don't want to spend more than 250, and I am pretty sure that the recommendation that I had given is more than that, but I have seen other people recommend Hughes.  For 250 though, I am not sure about the quality you would get, since they do make more expensive units which I am sure are higher quality.

Re- Edit lol: Maybe you had already noticed this, but I just noticed that the converter you posted does not have lockup, and requires an additional kit that limits lockup.

Part number is hp-3735 and costs $42.97

Yeah I seen that too well even the additional 43.00 isn't bad at 260 there is this and I have seen good recommends

for this brand.

If I had to choose between both, I would choose the second one if I could have it balanced. The Hughes converter is balanced, but lacks lockup, which I have read makes cars more efficient and street friendly. So just go for the second one which has lockup, but have it balanced. Keep us updated on your decision and results. I have always heard good things about the 200 4r.
