1977 1978 1979 Caprice Impala Wiring Diagram

I have a wiring diagram(not for sale) for the 77-79 models. Some parts of the diagram are for the 80-90 models also. These are uploaded in the biggest size, I can email them to you if you need to see them bigger and clearer.

I'm doing a ls swap on my 79 what's the best switch 12v source on these cars that won't drop while cranking. I'm using the old distributor wire.

Youll be just fine using the old HEI wire.

If anyone is interested, I have a 1979 Chevrolet Passenger Cars wiring diagram master manual. This is a lot clearer and easier to use than the Mitchell or Chilton diagrams. I'm going to take this thing to work to scan it, since it's about 30" wide. Let me know if you'd like a copy.

Shows the wiring for options such as delay wiper wiring, rear window defrost, a/c and non a/c, etc...

Yes, I do. Sorry for such a late reply, my computer crashed and it's been a while getting everything back up and running. I do have the schematics tho. I can email it if you send me an address to send it to.

Wiring diagrams are available thru most mechanic shops especially classic car shops Mitchell on demand gas a classic version.

Mine was lost long ago with my Impala sniff sniff.
