Can the 91-96 Impala SS bolt pattern be changed to 5x4.75 from the 5"? Reason I'm asking is my 78 Buick LeSabre Coupe has 4.75 but a weak axle. The SS is way cheaper than a Moser 9 replacement.

Re: Changing bolt pattern
Buy moser axle shaft they make the patter u want Plus ur gonna have to drill the new rotors
Better off getting impala ss rear with impals spindles and invest into a set of 5x5 rims

Re: Changing bolt pattern
I don't want that bolt pattern limited wheel selection. Plus I'm going to run C5 Z06 Vette brakes. I want to be able to go to the parts store and buy brake parts over the counter.

Re: Changing bolt pattern
New axles would probably be good investment for the future . I installed a 95' 3.08 10 bolt , I haven't changed axles yet though so I use the
spacer adapters till I do since they pretty cheap ($50 pair).
