In a thread dated 1/21/16 @ 6:12 PM, Myloth referred to an "AFB" carb. Sorry to be ignorant but what is an AFB carb?

Aluminum Four Barrel Carburetor (AFB) made by Carter Carburetor for many Cars in the 1960s
Later they were sold as aftermarket 4 Barrels on the cheap
And later still Edelbrock bought the toolings and now sells them as their own
It's a simple design that's easy to tune and maintain
