steering coulmn question Empty steering coulmn question

    Post  Fierro51 Thu Jan 28, 2016 9:55 am

hello i have a 77 2 door coupe and I need to replace my steering column and I cant seem to find another cruise control column around me. i have found several non cruise columns and I am wondering if you can take a non cruise control column and make it cruise control, all the parts are mechanically the same it just takes an electric stalk/lever correct?

    any help would be appreciated

Yes you are correct, just find you a 77 to 83 cruise control/turn signal lever. And GM used them on other models too like the corvette also, so they arent hard to find.

didn't the none cruise columns  have just a thread on turn signal lever and the cruise levers were bolt in?
