Stainless Steel Rocker Trim

Good news for those with 2-door cars that want to go this route, QMI now offers this awesome trim. I had to make a pattern off my old '79 2-door and send it to them back in 1999 because they only offered it for 4-door cars at the time. I wonder if they are using my pattern? I spent hours getting it just right, angles and all. It would be neat if they were. Anyway, here is the link:

this is pretty neat, if i never find that trim piece i need, i might turn to this, even though id like to stay with it being body mounted verses 3m'd on, but hey again pretty cool

I know I have one of those somewhere from my old car as I kept everything. I just have to rack my brain and think about what I did with the small pieces. When I find it, it's yours! The only bad thing about going with this flat stainless trim is that you have to grind off all the little "pegs" on the body so this will stick on flat. However, I do prefer the look of the mirror stainless on the bottom. It sure is sharp.

Thanks man, ill be patiently waiting lol. I want to keep the outside as original as possible (minus the rims and tires ofcourse). I know alot of folks like to get rid of that trim completely, because those are usually rust magnets.
