Last fall I decided to upgrade/replace the whole front suspension on my 79 Caprice.
Everything but the calipers(great shape). That included new spindles(bearings and seals) and rotors.
All arms, ball joints, tie rods complete. Quick ratio box, idler and pitman. Included is the solid shaft for the steering to box. No rag joint.
Include was the 1 5/8" sway bar w/poly bushed mounts & links. New shocks as well, even though the old ones weren't too old.
I had the 95/96 Impala springs installed to lower. It didn't. But beefed it up. New overload rear springs to lift slightly.
All aligned and running true. All in all about $2200 in parts and labor. The alignment shop did a great job.
Handles like a go cart.
