I've been searching locally, but I can't seem to find a decent hood. I've decided to open up my search and I'm now willing to travel a reasonable distance from western Pennsylvania to find one. Anyone with any leads please post them here. My last resort is to buy a VFN 2" fiberglass cowl, but I'd really rather stick with a flat steel hood for the NASCAR look I'm planning for.

Thanks. I saw they made a flat bolt on hood, but if I could spend a $100 on a steel original instead of $500, I'd much prefer that route. The weight savings isn't worth that much to me.

I'll keep my eyes open for you. Kentucky isn't too far from Pennsylvania. I have a good hood so I haven't been really looking for another one. Now, I'll look. If I find one, I'll let you know. I live in a big racing town, so I've got some channels I can check into. A lot of these guys have spare cars sitting around not yet cut.

I did some looking and made some calls. Here's the only ones I can find anywhere near you.

I hope this helps.

Cool! Thanks guys! I'll look into these. Tuscarawas County is pretty close. Hopefully that thing isn't as rusty as it looks. Otherwise, that salvage yard isn't too much further away.

How'd you make out? I'm going to be passing right through Pittsburgh Tues or Wed next week. If you still need a hood, I can bring you one. LMK.

I do still need one, so yes! If you could do that, that would be awesome! I assume the condition is similar to the other parts I bought from you? What color is it? Not that it really matters, but just curious. How much do you want for it? I'll pm you my phone number, so we can correspond that way to make arrangements.

Sounds good. I'll give a call this evening after dinner. Let's say 7:30-ish?
BTW, it's white and was a spare for my impala.
