Well I will be pulling the 305 out and the turbo 350 in the next 2 weeks. I will be getting rid of some weight under the hood. Plus I will be adding an aluminum intake manifold, either a stock aluminum intake from a LG4 or L-69. If I can't find one of those I will see about getting a used Eldebrock Performer or a Wieand Action plus.
Got a friend that is going check out the tranny as well as install a 2200-2400 converter. Installing a Derale 14200 tranny pan that has a drain plug with a bung welded in for transmission temperature gauge.
I purchased an oil pressure gauge today with copper tubing.
Headers will be going in so I will probably by the Flow Techs that others have done on here.
