79 Caprice one owner since 1994

Hallo to everybody , first at all i like to introduce my self
my name is thomas and right now i live in poland and i also been
an owner of a 79 capice  which i both in 1994 . i also do have two
camaros 79 and 80 but i like this box chevy very much and he never
live me alone ( even if some say the car is for some reasons bad ) i will never sell
it. So i hope to finde some people feel the same and may be i finde better
possibilitis to get some parts and help to help to restore my chevy

You have some great looking cars! Seeing a white on white two door like your Impala coupe from your website is what makes me wish the previous owner would have left mine white rather than changing it to match the interior.

Welcome to the forum! What a fine example of a 79! The chrome looks fantastic and the body panels look super straight! I love those wheels. I used to have a set exactly like them on mine years ago. I bought my first one in 1994 also and had it for 10 years. I really like your Camaros too. I'm a big fan of the 2nd generation Camaro and Trans Am also.

Thank you for so many answears , yes the 2 door  white impala from
my webside was from79 it belonged to my father but he sold the car
to a good friend and he put it into a garage and he realy never used
the car on the street .I would like to buy the car back and try to restore it
to a better  condition but  the friend of my father does not want to sell it .
One thing is true , there  are not many box caprice left on the street
in europe, most of them you can see only on US car meetings.Most of them
are naturally not used for everyday drive .I have one question how
does it looks like with spare parts like  importand body parts like
headlights, or turning lights or for example chrom parts which are important
when you restore a car and you would like the car to look great  in the U.S today.
The engine parts are easily to get because the chevy small block is used
in many other cars.

4 DOOR PARTS seem to be aplenty as far as the body goes lots of NOS stuff and oem even here. Yes there is

no worry anytime soon of not being able to SBC engine parts.

It is always funny to drive a car like this here in europe , everybody
turns around and looks on you and on the gas station the most question you are
asked for is how much fuel your car needs for 100km (miles) i always
answear as much as i feel in

As for gas mileage, when it comes to my classic cars, I don't pay much attention to miles per gallon, it's more about smiles per gallon for me!
