Power Steering Bracket Empty Power Steering Bracket

Does this look familiar to anyone? My neighbor says it came off a C10 with a 350 it was on a P Pump I have here

(which is looks like a new replacement hence my interest in swapping it in)

and I was wondering what is missing to mount the pump as the original pump mount is different and the pump is

bad with a capital B. I could spend 40-50 for a mount but was wondering if this might work ?

I should say those two pieces mount front and back of the pump with the tension slot towards the bottom.

Other side mounts almost the same, it seems odd because most are either bottom cradles or a front mount bracket.

In the end I "modified" the original bracket to fit the new pump so no worries. Damn I would still like to see a pic of that

bracket setup with the ones I pictured here, but I can't find one online.

Posting some details of the P-Pump(The older Style I GM PS pump) swap. Most of the aftermarket is geared

towards the P-pump generally what came with 60s and early 70s Muscle cars I can't say they all this way

but ie. Novas and Camaros from early 70s are exactly like this P-pump here.

he difference between my original and this P-pump is the mounts that's all. In the pictures you see the my 79

pump and the P and what I  had to do to fit the 79 front bracket on it.(Just a trim on the right side)

The holes on the P pump's front are cocked left while the 79s are straight in the end the pump might sit at

25 degree angle but I don't see an issue with that.

Also on the back you notice the 79 has one bolt hole with a flat bolt and the other has two studs

they use the same thread though 3/8 I just swapped the one from the 79 and cut the other flat as with the

79 B body bracket there is no need for them. One had a nipple too the 79 a threaded hole for the hose.

Again if you wanted to use the earlier pumps you can the main reason I did is the chrome reservoir

and maybe a billet bracket down the road.

Also this setup lets me use a slightly shorter hose pictured here. Also I am not recommending

this route to anyone I just did to save cash and time.

My last piece of the Power steering restoration is the gear box itself anyone know anything about the fast

ratio gear box Rock Auto lists vs regular?

The fast ratio Power steering gear says 10:1?
